Google's latest Street View mapping projects let users take a stroll in the lush Amazon rain forest or the recuperating cities of Thailand, shining a spotlight on both deforestation issues and disaster recovery.

Thailand officials have now officially made it illegal for tourists to dive in its many marine parks. These parks have been available to the public and to tourists for years, but this ban is an active attempt by the government to try and limit access to these marine parks in an effort to save the coral reefs found on these lakes. The ban will be applied to 22 different areas on the Andaman Sea, located on the West Coast of Thailand.

Two men suspected of killing endangered tigers in Thailand have been arrested, a U.S. conservation group said Thursday, and the key evidence turned out to be cell phone images of them with their prizes.

A phone with the images was seized after a gun battle between Thai park rangers and suspected poachers in a protected area, the Wildlife Conservation Society said in a statement.
