I don't know if that is even possible anymore. We have created such a divide over the years that I believe it is irreversible. We domesticated animals in the beginning of time for our own survival. (ex. caravans,hunting etc.) It's a way of life now that is and has been socially accepting in the public realm.

Having peace with nature means relalizing we and nature are one and the same. Its having peace with yourself as you are part of nature. We do not live in suspension from nature and cannot do without it. We should love ourselves to be at peace and that means loving the environment we depend upon for life and for our meaning and joy.
