The Australian Blue Tongue Lizard is a fascinating species. This gentle lizard just likes to soak up the sun which is a great way of life! Let's hope he doesn't become endangered or worse. Domestic cats are his number one enemy, though usually most people say their cats don't do that sort of thing. The blue tongue puts on a good show of fending off threats as you will see in this video featuring a small blue tongue and a rather large one. These lizards are in the environmentally sensitive area of Helensburgh and district, new South Wales, Australia. Enjoy this look at our unique nature. Filmed with the macro on a Canon still camera video function!!
