Our development model, based on economic growth and exploitation of natural resources, is the root cause of not only climate change, but also world poverty, economic instability and social injustices. As a first step toward connecting a global community of like-minded citizens, Global Reboot launched The Age of Adaptation, a short film 'connecting the dots' between climate change, poverty and economic instability.
Global warming is viewed from a holistic perspective, as the most urgent and catastrophic symptom of our global systemic crisis. Through social networking websites, Global Reboot invites citizens all over the world to share ideas and information to stimulate global action. Members are encouraged to share videos and messages to help Global Reboot to build a fully-fledged community of individuals who 'want to do something' both locally and globally. A series of high-visibility mobilization initiatives will be discussed and launched to help impulse change.
