Greening Australia
Greening Australia is committed to developing and delivering large scale environmental projects which will transform landscapes. These projects, our Visionary Projects, showcase what Greening Australia does so well.

Each project has a vision that reaches across the landscape, linking ecological communities and engaging social communities to achieve critically important environmental outcomes. Currently, the largest Visionary Project is Gondwana Link in the south western corner of Western Australia.

Designed to protect and restore land across and adjoining the nation's only globally renowned biodiversity hotspot, the completed link will be an arc of bush land stretching for 1000 kilometres across the far south west.

Currently in Gondwana Link, Greening Australia is working to reconnect the Sterling Range and the Fitzgerald River National Parks.

Gondwana Link - in the south western corner of Western Australia. Designed to protect and restore land across and adjoining the nation’s only globally renowned biodiversity hotspot, the completed link will be an arc of bush land stretching for 1000 kilometres across the far south west of the Australian continent..

Hawkesbury Nepean River Recovery – working to improve water quality, restore degraded lands, improve biodiversity and mitigate the impacts of urbanisation on the Hawkesbury Nepean catchment. This catchment covers some 2.2 million hectares and flows for over 470km from south of Sydney and along the western and northern fringes of the Sydney Basin, to it’s mouth on the NSW Central Coast. Containing the critically endangered Cumberland Plains Woodlands and providing drinking water to more than 5 million people, it is essential that Greening Australia continues working in the catchment.

Habitat 141 - Habitat 141 is a bold project. It’s seeking to restore the links between major national parks and nature reserves over a 700 km stretch straddling the South Australian, New South Wales and Victorian border region. This area encompasses a diverse range of ecosystems including rangelands, heath, mallee, red gum forests and floodplains, grassy woodlands through to the limestone rich coastal plain.
