Diwen Cao is Chinese, currently living in Aotearoa New Zealand. She enjoys exploring different cultures and learning from people around her. Through her experience in AIDS volunteering in China, she developed a keen interest in humanitarian work.

This interest has lead to an associated interest in the environment and sustainable development which she is learning and exploring from a youth perspective. Diwen holds a bachelor degree in management in public relations and human resource management.

She is involved in NGO work in various in China and in New Zealand. She enjoys hiking, photography, reading, and music, and is a communicative person with a great passion for humanitarian work and sustainable development.
